About Hardo

Building intelligence into PCB design

Hardo is an AI-native PCB engine. It turns a plain-language brief into a board the teams can build, while keeping engineers in control of the decisions that matter.

Our mission

Take the routine out of hardware design

Our mission is to automate PCB design and accelerate hardware development, giving engineers more time to create, solve complex problems, and build what comes next.

Our story

Why we started Hardo

Every new board starts with the same routine: reading datasheets, choosing parts, drawing the schematic, placing and routing, checking the rules and preparing files for the fab.

It takes days or weeks of engineering time, and a missed detail can cost a prototype. We started Hardo to take that routine off engineers’ desks.

Our approach

Turns proprietary engineering knowledgeinto computational execution

Hardo is building the intelligence layer for hardware development.

It connects engineering requirements to the physical production of PCBs, through systems that can reason over and execute engineering constraints.

What we believe

Principles we build by

  • People make the critical decisions

Hardo takes on the repeatable work. The calls that shape your product stay with you and your team.

  • Checked before fab

Every part is verified against its datasheet by a hardware engineer, and every board goes through design-rule and manufacturability checks before it reaches the fab.

  • Open files, no lock-in

Every board is a standard KiCad project, with production files you can take to any tool or fab.

  • Your designs stay yours

We never use your designs or design rules to train Hardo unless you opt in.
